Chrissie and Jen

We became friends when our youngest children were in preschool together. We realized there are lots of city shopping guides, but few for the suburbs in which so many of us live and do our day-to-day shopping. So we decided to combine our skills and passions to create Personal Shopper (a.k.a PS). We hope you enjoy it as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

Jen Novak

Jen has had an active career in the field of fashion and design. She received a Fashion Merchandising and Marketing degree from University of Arizona, worked for Nordstrom in sales and marketing and then started her own consulting business after the birth of her first child. Jen Novak Consulting has provided personal shopping and design services for Peninsula clients for the past eight years. She is married and has two boys, ages 8 and 5. Jen is also active in her children's schools and her church.

Chrissie Kremer

Chrissie is a Peninsula native who has worked in consumer advertising and marketing for the past 20 years. After graduating from Stanford, she was an account executive in New York for the ad agency BBDO. She received her MBA from the Anderson School at UCLA and then moved to Hong Kong where she worked for Colgate-Palmolive and Campbell’s Soup. After returning to the Bay Area, Chrissie was a Director of Marketing at Sega of America before co-founding Makeover Networks, an online makeover internet company. Most recently, she has had her own marketing consulting company. She is married and has three boys, ages 9, 7 and 5.
